Root Canal (Endodontics)

Root canal therapy, or endodontics, is the process of removing diseased tissue from the root chamber, sterilyzing the root canal space, and sealing the system. Root canals my need to be performed for a number of reasons- the nerve dies, became infected, is oversensitive to hot or cold, or when an abscess or swelling are present.

-Moderate to severe pain when biting on a tooth

-Sensitivity to tapping or pressure on the tooth

-Toothache that wakes you up in the middle of the night

-A pimple on your gum that may release pus or blood
