Digital X-Rays

In January of 2009, our office began using digital X-rays. Digital X-rays are quickly becoming the standard for dental X-rays.

Digital X-rays allow us to get a much better view of your teeth by allowing the doctor to magnify and otherwiswe increase the diagnostic information available from the image. Not only are they an excellent diagnostic tool, they require even less radiation than conventional high-speed X-ray film. Digital images can be transmitted electronically, greatly simplifying communication with other doctors and insurance companies. They allow us to review your X-rays with you immediately after they are taken and are a great help in understanding your dental cnition and required treatment.
